Once again our Catholic tradition reserves a special time to remember deceased family and friends. Their departure for eternal life leaves us with a heavy heart. St. Anastasia has a wonderful tradition to comfort us through these times—our annual “Time to Remember” liturgy. This moving and uplifting observance offers us a visual and rewarding means to pray for and remember our departed loved ones. During the liturgy, names of those who have died between October 1, 2018 through September 30, 2019 are read aloud while family members or close friends come forward to light a candle in their memory.
Other families will also be invited to come forward to light a candle for their loved ones in memory of them. All are welcome to join us for this beautiful evening of prayer.
