If you stopped by The BRICK during the coop Unplugged last weekend and heard incredible sounds of rock-blues, then you heard Rafael Mendez and the Fabulous House Rockers. The cafe on Genessee St was hopping that night as Rafael tore into classic blues including another of SRV tunes that got the crowd on their feet. Rafael soloed on the solid rythem provided by Rafael, Billy, Pat and Phil; know collectively as The Fabulous House Rockers! They are blues band from Lake County Illinois. Their hard-working repertoire is Blues and R&B.
