New Project: Renovation of the Marian Statue |
|
While our love and dedication to St. Anastasia's statue of the Blessed Mother has never faltered, her beauty and grace are now in need of our support. The beautification efforts will be done with a heartfelt dedication to our spiritual leader, Rev. Aloysius Funtila. We invite you to participate this project. Brick pavers are available and can be inscribed as a memorial to a deceased loved one or as a special intention for your family. These bricks will flank the Blessed Mother as she continues to watch over us, strengthening the community and surrounding us with beauty and love.
Building a Garden for Reflection and Prayer
A diligent and dedicated committee of St. Anastasia Parishioners led by Elaine Flanigan has been developing plans for an enhancement to the parish exterior grounds on the south side of the parish property in the alcove between the rectory entrance and the church. The group has proposed an effort to restore the statue of Mary, construct a pathway and contemplative prayer area with attractive landscaping, and placement of “brick pavers” that will provide a beautiful and serene respite on the church grounds.
Look for more information on this site and in the parish bulletin about this project.
